Holiday Happenings

This year, our Christmastime is in NYC and I couldn't be happier. Sure, there are things I miss about Chicago but constantly being away from family there, especially during the holidays, is definitely not one of them.

Here's what our holiday season has looked like so far:

Our first real Christmas tree -- I'm a big fan of real trees and their smell so I was really excited to buy this gem.

The Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall -- We saw the show, which was great, with family on Thanksgiving Eve.

The Union Square Chriskindlmarket-- Honestly, we liked Chicago's more BUT this one was cute. And yummy! After Max Brenner's served us spoiled cake for dessert, we opted for dessert at Waffles & Dinges. That up there is a delicious Nutella and strawberry sugar waffle with whipped cream.

Secret Santa Girls Night-- This has become a little tradition for my best friends and me. It's a way to see each other at Christmastime and buy each their presents without breaking the bank--our limit is $25. You'd be surprised at the goodies we each score year after year despite this seemingly small budget!

So tell me, what have you been up to this holiday season?
